News. We always hear and watch news everyday in our television and radio and even read it in the news papers. Why there is always news? Do news is really important to all?

Well, News is what is new; it’s what’s happening. Reporting something that has just happened or is about to happen. In short, news is information that is of broad interest to the intended audience. But, most of the things that happen in the world every day don’t find their way into the newspaper or onto the air in a newscast. Media is the one who gathered the news everyday whether in the news papers, radio or television. There job is to look for a new things happen in our surroundings and gathered it all over the world by airtime broadcasting or writing it in the newspapers.

News is not only news. Of course there still types of news. There are two types of news.

Hard news is what you see on the front page of the newspaper or the top of the Web page, and what you hear at the start of a broadcast news report. Like war, politics, business, and crime are frequent hard news topics.

Soft news is a human-interest story involving a prominent person and it’s an unusual story that people likely would discuss with their friends.

Atlanta, Georgia is a city with a news also. Of course this city has it’s citizen and those people are the one who make news and delivered news for everyday.

Driver in Easter hit-and-run could get 130 years
A Fulton County grand jury has indicted a 22-year-old accused of causing a deadly Easter wreck and later concealing that crime. Aimee Michael was indicted on five counts of vehicular homicide, along with reckless driving and hit and run — charges that could imprison her for more than 130 years if she is convicted on all of them. The grand jury also indicted the 22-year-old’s mother, Sheila Michael on charges of tampering with evidence and hindering apprehension of a criminal.

Tech student critical after carjacking, shooting
A Georgia Tech student shot during a carjacking remained in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital’s intensive care unit as of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, hospital officials said. Patrick Whaley, 22, was shot and two other people were robbed during a carjacking at an off-campus apartment complex.

Why there is entertainment? What’s the use of it to us?

Entertainment is designed for the people, so that they will enjoy there free hours from there work. I’m sure it is too stress full that we just spend our 24 hours of time in just working in the office right? So, we should find some way to enjoy our self. That’s what entertainment use to do. It helps us forget our hard works and problems with just a couple of an hour or minutes. It will also relieve the stress and gives us some relaxation. They will make us smile and laugh while watching or just listening. Its also a help for a family bonding.

There are different examples in entertainment:

Animation – it provides moving images that are generated by an artist, in contrast to the live action normally used in motion pictures.

Cinema - provides moving pictures as an art form.

Theater - encompasses live performance such as plays, musicals, farces, monologues and pantomimes.

Circus - acts include acrobats, clowns, trained animals, trapeze acts, hula hoopers, tightrope walkers, jugglers, unicyclists and other stunt-oriented artists. Its also a great place for the family.

Comedy - provides laughter and amusement.

Comics - comprise of text and drawings which convey an entertaining narrative.

Dance - refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music.

Reading - comprises the interpretation of written symbols.

Games - provide relaxation and diversion usually following a rule set.

Music - is an art form combining rhythm, melody, harmony for entertainment, ceremonial or religious purposes.

These are all the examples of entertainment. You can pick one of those you like.
